Specialized body for regulation – standardization – conformity

This specialized body has the following responsibilities:

• interconnection of regulation, standardization and conformity;
• transfer of knowledge on national, European and international developments regarding regulation, standardization and conformity;
• representation of interests at national level to SECO, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, SAS, the Swiss Accreditation Service, and AKKO, the Federal Accreditation Commission;
• independent platform for information and debate;
• pool of experts and speakers for presentations.

This body’s services and programme include:

• publication of relevant documents on SNV Livelink;
• possibility for discussions on SNV Livelink;
• participation in consultations on new federal regulations;
• events on specific issues.
