The 2010 Standards Compendium provides an overview of the purposes and scope of standardization in mechanical engineering.

The 2010 Standards Compendium is considered a classic reference work in technical training and practice. The 2010 edition defines the state of the art of standardization in the field of engineering. It features a practical presentation of highly topical and well-researched content. A total of 89 chapters or sections have been updated.

The Compendium lists and explains binding technical standards, be they international (ISOISO
International Organization for Standardization), European (ENEN
European Standard) or national (SNSN
Swiss Standard). As it defines the benchmark for engineering, it is an indispensable companion in both training and practice. It supports training based on SWISSMEM’s model courses.

Following up on the 2006 Standards Compendium, the 2010 edition is available as a completely revised version in English, German, French and Italian.
