Become an expert at Bertrand Piccard's Solar Impulse Foundation
Join the exclusive community of Bertrand Piccard's Foundation and support the awarding process of the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label
Building on the success of the solar-powered flight around the world, the Solar Impulse Foundation is looking for experts to assess innovative solutions which protect the environment in a profitable way, and to recommend the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label to those that meet the criteria.
The Solar Impulse Foundation, with whom we collaborate, has committed to identifying and evaluating 1000 cleantech solutions that have a positive environmental and socioeconomic impact whilst being profitable. The goal of the Efficient Solutions portfolio is to encourage decision-makers to adopt more ambitious targets, policies and regulations to affect a positive change by bringing them to market. The portfolio will be promoted to decision-makers around the world by Solar Impulse initiator and founder, Bertrand Piccard.
«Today, thousands of solutions exist that can boost economic growth while preserving nature, but they are often hidden in start-ups or research labs. They remain unknown to decision makers and are not implemented at industry level. So few people realize that everyone can use them and how profitable they have become.» BERTRAND PICCARD
Solutions that pass the evaluation process win the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label and will be added to the solution portfolio to gain access to a global audience.
Water, infrastructure and consumption together with cities and energy is one of the five UN Sustainable Development Goals championed by the Solar Impulse Foundation. Many exiting innovations related to water, infrastructure and consumption have been submitted to date, and they await assessment by highly motivated experts. In turn, experts within the Solar Impulse community benefit from exposure to a range of new technologies, and novel applications of existing technologies.
