One of the services we offer is the management of standards-related expert committees, each of which deals with a specific specialist topic. The expert committee EUROLAB-CH deals with the topics of quality, accreditation and certification in the laboratories.

EUROLAB CookBook

 

EURLOAB CookBooks are short documents on quality issues to help laboratories comply with ISO/IEC 17025. All the EUROLAB CookBooks have been updated in accordance with the revised ISO/IEC 17025:2017. They were developed on the basis of experience and in-depth discussions with EUROLAB TCQA, the responsible technical committee of EUROLAB.

Objectives

  • To exchange experience
  • To continuously improve Swiss laboratories’ processes and management systems
  • To represent Swiss laboratories’ interests vis-à-vis authorities and Technical Committees
  • To add value to accreditation

EUROLAB-CH offers

  • A discussion platform for members to improve their knowledge and procedures
  • Seminars on current topics of accreditation, laboratory management and international regulations
  • A direct line to SAS, SECO, AKKO, METAS, EA, EUROLAB aisbl, EURACHEM, ILAC and other organizations
  • Information for laboratories on important national and international developments in accreditation and laboratory requirements
  • Direct influence through cooperation with national and international bodies

Membership

  • Member of EUROLAB aisbl (European Federation of National Association of Measurement, Testing and Analytical Laboratories)
  • EUROLAB-CH is a specialized body of the Swiss Standards Association (SNV)
  • EUROLAB-CH members also benefit from the advantages of SNV memberships
